Shrock Orthopedic Research (SOR) was established in 2008 by Kevin Shrock, MD, and Natalie Shrock, ARNP. Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the same facilities as Ft. Lauderdale Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Shrock Orthopedic Research is a center of research excellence drawing study participants from all over South Florida who wish to participate in FDA approved cutting edge orthopedic research.
Are You a Potential Research Trial Participant?
Shrock Research is looking for a few “research heroes” to help in our clinical studies. Your participation will directly help us find new and better ways to treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions and injuries.
We are currently seeking participants in several different types of orthopedic studies and clinical trials in Ft Lauderdale. These studies range from those seeking participants with knee pain, shoulder pain and back pain, to those looking for subjects with osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and tibia fractures, to name a few.
Our flexible scheduling as well as our location within the facilities of Ft. Lauderdale Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine allows for a great deal of convenience for our patients. Typically, research studies are on the kind of orthopedic surgery Fort Lauderdale patients undergo to cure various ailments. There is often a patient stipend offered for participation in these studies.
About Our Research Team
- Dr. Shrock is the primary investigator in all of our studies. He oversees all study related patient care and is intricately involved in all aspects of our clinical trials.
- Natalie Shrock is one of our two clinical research coordinators and has a background as a nurse practitioner, enabling her to have a great deal of involvement in study related patient care.
- Anne Hislop, CCRC, CRA is our other clinical research coordinator who has over 12 years’ experience in clinical research, including the highly complex management of the regulatory details involved in successfully implementing today’s orthopedic trials.
